Offa’s Dyke is a 177 miles national trail along the Wales/England border, starting from Sedbury near Chepstow and finishing at Prestatyn. The walk takes in three areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a National Park and a World Heritage Site. It also passes through the Welsh Borderlands and provides the walker with some challenging climbs contrasted with broad river valleys. Welshpool is approx. 110 miles into the walk.
Welshpool Tourist Information Centre stocks several guide books of the walk along with souvenirs to purchase as mementoes of the Trail.
